Spring and Vernal are interchangeable terms used to describe the period of fresh vibrancy of the world coming out of hibernation and reawakening. It is an astronomical event where the suns rays shine directly on the equator casting an equal amount of light on both hemispheres. It's a time of balance as the northern and southern hemispheres receive the same amount of daylight hours.
